Beach (Poem by Gabby L.)

Cold air and a peaceful breeze

Soft sand and warmth underneath my feet

Subtle words and an open heart

Makes me feel like I am part

Of this ocean in front of me

Crystal clear and oh-so deep

I am one with the world and it is one with me

Just as fish are one with the deep blue sea

This is my home

One I cannot leave

And if I shall go

So will a piece of it with me

    1. Haha! Fine... Even though it should be 7.6 percent if you calculate it by each line, and since that was only one line of the piece, it should be about 7.6 percent. But you did post it, (Thank you!!) so we can say it's 10 percent. :D

    3. Ha! Well it makes sense at 10 percent, and if this were profitable, you would probably make more than 10 percent for publishing it. So technically, depending on where negotiations lie, you could have around a 30 percent profit, but it's not a profitable margin currently and I dont think its worth investing in, so you're stuck at 10 percent. And then again, making my own site would be more profitable for that, and I would be able to make money from more than just that poem, so you may get a deduction, or get a 2 percent increase by coming up with more title ideas. There, complicated now. :D

  2. I love this! I love the ocean and Marine biology, so it's like home. :D You perfectly captured what it's like to be at the beach.

    1. Thank you Kyra! I know, I love marine life and being out on/by the water too. I haven't been to the beach in a pretty long time since the waterways near where I am have red tide, lake O releases, and algae blooms, so it's not the best place to be certain times of the year. But when everything in the water is balanced, it's one of my favorite places to be! I'm happy you liked it! :)
