French Fry Poem Competition! (Mark Swift and Gabby L.)

So, basically, Gabby needed poem inspiration, and I suggested a French Fry poem. Eventually, she gave up and said it's impossible. I turned it into a competition!
Here's how it works: Gabby and I have both written French Fry poems. You will vote for the coolest one (in your opinion). The vote is anonymous, however! No bias! This is to see what the best poem is, not who the favorite poet is.

ENTRY ONE: (1 Votes)

French Fries, French Fries,
I would die without French Fries.
French Fries have become my life,
They come with every mean.
Food is important to me,
So I will keep repeating...
French Fries, French Fries,
I would die without French Fries.

ENTRY TWO: (2 Votes)

French fries and a hamburger
A soft drink and onion rings
They’re something special in life
Greasy, salty and perfectly fried
I don’t care if it’s filled with calories
I’ll order a large please
French fries, something I delight
Going to McDonalds makes my day bright

    1. I think they're funny and cute. And I think I know who belongs to who. Where do we vote? Here, with an 'anonymous,' as the name on our comment? :)

      P.S.
I was the one who put Anonymous, because I saw your reply afterward, Mark.
      Sorry. :/

  4. Yay, Gabby!

I predicted the future. I knew all of this. As well... *Predicting Future* Mark have you entered a Haiku for the Winter Haiku Contest, for the Writing Club? I know you will do great in that.

    P.S.
You did better on the French Fry Poem, then I would have ever done on a poem about fries, or anything silly.

  5. Are you going to have more poetry contests like this?

    1. Possibly occasionally. Idk, yet. I think the Monthly contests might be the extent of it for the most part, unless random poem inspiration appears, idk

    2. That's cool, Mark. I can't wait to see what kind of contests you'll be doing. Anyway, I'd think you'd do well with the Haiku Contest. I entered two poems, one in the Winter Category and the other in the Writing Category. Though, I don't think I'll make it to the finalist round. It took me a while to come up with two. Plus, I think people are looking for more profound statements, than an actual short symbolic poem with imagery.

  6. Congrats gabby, I guessed who's was who's correctly, I'm sorry that I voted against you, haha, I just like choosing the one's no one else will.
