I feel undermanned, underdecorated, and overposted.
Overposted can't really be helped, undermanned is something I may have a solution for, but undecorated: THAT is something I am going to talk about! And hopefully talking about it erases the problem magically, but that probably won't be the case.
If you look at my blog, the left side has a bar that has a peachish-yellowish color for a background, alongside green text and green lines. It's also where all the gadgets are. The gadgets are find, overall, but the color scheme could use a lot of effort.
Top of the blog looks decent, but I just want to change it.
Photo looks pretty cool, but I'll probably find another one that works better with the blog. If it changes, it will be another of my photos.
I really like how the Featured Post is set up. I mean, it's not really "featured", it's more the welcome post pinned to the top of the board, but it's still really cool.
Posts are organized by how recent it is, but overall look blah.
Anyhow, I will soon be changing it to something else entirely! I have not settled on which design, yet, but it will be more dynamic, make it easier to navigate, and will open up new features for my blog. I will update you when I know more!
UPDATE: I attempted to add the new theme, but it didn't work for commenting on certain pages, so I am going to work on finding a new way to add the theme. It may be delayed into January or even February, I'm not sure. Until then, we're stuck with a rather dull default style blog.

ReplyDeleteIt might look great, but it's going to favor function over style. And the functions of the blog will be vastly different. It'll take some getting used to. But, better to do it sooner rather than later, otherwise I might inconvenience many other readers, too!
