_______For those who find themselves depressed..._______
.
In a world that never
pauses,
There’s an ocean that
always roars.
In a park that’s
always active,
There’s a child that
screams.
In a place full of
weeping,
A mourner dost mourn.
But despite the
sorrow,
A light always
shines.
Despite all the
noise,
Peace can reside.
Despite all the
motion,
There’s plenty of
time.
We all have an end,
But the present is
our gift.
Thanks for this. Somehow, it makes me feel a lil better.
ReplyDeleteWow, cool! :D
DeleteI'm not depressed, so I probably don't get the full scale of this poem, but it's a very beautiful one. It really shines light on beautiful imagines and scenes.
ReplyDeleteOh, wow changing it up. This one is positive, negative, and then positive again. It's a positivity sandwich! XD
Well, it starts out calm, then it goes negative, then goes positive. All the positivity in this poem, like in my other poems, comes after the negative burst.
DeleteStill, though, it does have a slightly different style than most of my poetry, and I know why; I wrote this for a depressed friend while playing a video game lol
While playing a video game? That's impressive. Multi-tasking king of the world!
DeleteIt wasn't easy; it was a multiplayer "last-person-standing" game, and so every time I died, the game finished soon after and I could only write, like, 2 words at a time XD
DeleteI actually always got the most points, people knew I was good, so they'd hide and wait for me to finish everyone else off, and then defeat me when I was weak :/ Therefore, I only had 1 or 2 of a 10 people server that was alive when I died lol
Wow. I've never played anything like that (outside of a family snowball fight). That sounds fun. I would undoubtably be the first person to die (at least on my first try) because A) I can't figure out the controls B) I pull a JarJar and trip, then impaling myself C) I just go berserkers and and up walking into a trap.
DeleteLol A) I figured the controls out easily, they're really simple. B) You fortunately can't trip in this game. C) That's what I do all the time XD
DeleteBut, yeah, that explains how I wrote this poem lol. Easy to write depressing poetry when people are stealing your wins in a video game :P
Then that's my type of game! You are right; what's more depressing then dying over and over?
DeleteDying over and over when, statistically, you should be the best player in the entire game, and should be able to win a game :P
DeleteCan I tell you why you are really winning? All the other players have decided their goal in life is your downfall. (or at least tell yourself that) XD
Deleteoops. I meant loosing in the first sentence
DeleteI'm really losing because it's "last player standing", which means stats don't count, survival does, and I never survive :P
DeleteBut they choose to bring about my downfall because they realized pretty shortly off the bad I'm a great player, even if I'm a new player and I'm level 1
Wow! I'm guessing level 1 is good... XD
DeleteLol Not really, it means I have the most basic equipment and next-to-no experience XD
DeleteSo it just means you're an average player, but because of the time you've had this game, it means you're pretty good?
DeleteRight! :D
DeleteWhat game is this, Battlefront II?
DeleteOh, no, lol Battlefront II has team gameplay. This is a game someone made on Roblox. I forget what it's called, tbh...lol
Deletehuh. So is roboblox a hodgepodge between Minecraft and Scratch?
DeleteNot really; it's kinda like Minecraft, but you can use JavaScript coding to change the "laws of physics" or whatever, and it's not even like you'll get near the same experience as Minecraft even by itself. Roblox is more of its own thing. It's a game creation engine, and it allows people with accounts to make games and play others' games
