Quiet (Poem by Marysa Writes)

Tell me how you lived
in the space between the noise.
How you can break silence
without shattering it.
Tell me how you say everything
without ever making a sound.
Or how all of your sentences
hold so much meaning,
but no words.

  2. Fyi, my fine readers, this isn't exclusive, I've got a form you can fill out! If you want to submit some poetry or a short story or something (doesn't have to be good) just submit it! Especially with vacations coming up, I'd appreciate submissions!
This is, however, the second poem I've actually asked permission to post; this alongside Phoenixes (by Theriddlemaster) I actually read and was astonished, and I just had to post it :P

  3. AH! Quietness, my worst fear! XD to be honest, you make silence seem so peaceful and deep. Now it actually seems enjoyable... thanks a lot Marysa. (jk)

    1. I, too, find silence to be a tad annoying XD
You probably realized that the first time I opened my mouth lol
But yes, Marysa's poem seems so deep and...well...awesome! :D

    2. I don't usually like silence, but I always seem to be surrounded by it, even in the noise, if that makes any sense lol.

    6. First rule of avoiding awkward silences: you never mention awkward silences lol

  4. I like the silence. But if its between two people, it better not be uncomfortable or filled with tension for whatever reason.
