A Poet is Tied to Their Pain (Poem by Marysa Writes)

Sometimes tying the metaphors together with double knotted word play isn’t enough to describe the pain behind the tired eyes and strangled mind of a poet with ropes around their pens, and strings around their head, connecting them to every word.

  2. True, true, true...
...although I've been trying to loosen the knots between my pain and I :D
Thought you could avoid a Mark Joke? Wrong! Lol

    2. Should I board up the windows like preparing for a hurricane?

    3. Well, you COULD, but I recommend not doing that because if you do you won't get the full awesomeness of the joke :P

    4. Actually, I’d suggest evacuating. There’s no way to survive these Mark jokes. Lol.

    5. If only your last name was "Jokes", Lucy, because I have the perfect joke :P
But, yeah, I'll evacuate with you guys :D

    6. That defeats the whole purpose of us evacuating

    7. ...well, no, because then if my Mark Jokes kill you, at least you won't die in Florida, you'd die in some other state :)

    8. Nah, it is, trust me; many people would DIE for a chance to NOT DIE in Florida :)
      I mean, that's perfectly logical, isn't it? :D

    9. ...oh, well, I tried :P
But hey, there's proof that the full force of my jokes can't kill you :D

    10. If it’s another state, that’s an improvement, at least to me. Also, I wish my last name was Jokes. It’d explain a lot. 😁

    11. See?! Many would DIE for a chance to die in another state! :D
Lol I'm now tempted to make a character whose name is "Gerald Jokes" for some reason XD

    12. Well, when you hate this state, it’s perfectly logical, if not reasonable.
Also, you should really do that! It’s an interesting name. Lol.

    13. :D See, Marysa?!?! LOGICAL! Lol
XD Idk, it's a bit too far, I think lol

    14. Reasonable and logical are technically two different things
You can be reasonable and illogical

    15. Apparently so...thanks for proof, Marysa :D

    16. I fully accept being illogical then.

      Delete
    17. Well, I'm being unreasonable yet logical. I mean, I'm looking at everything logically, I'm just using the logical unreasonably -shrug-
