The Houses of Hogwarts is a four-poem series I am just wrapping up with this poem. Credit to Hogwarts and the four houses (and their attributes) goes solely to the author of the Harry Potter series, J.K.Rowling.
Houses of Hogwarts: Ravenclaw
--------------------------------
Knowledge is power,
And wisdom is key,
Behold the Ravenclaw!
Who's smarter than thee.
There is no lure,
Greater than this,
Than a way out of,
The endless Abyss,
For the Ravenclaw loves knowledge,
And cannot stand not knowing,
So if you backstab her,
And leave her unknowing,
Beware her sting,
For she is coming.

Ooooooh this is SO good! It has like a mysterious vibe and an awesome tone! I like the way you made things rhyme, the last 4 lines left the poem on a really ominous note! Great piece! :)
ReplyDeleteI love this! My favorite lines were the one warning backstabbers (clearly directed towards Slytherin). It was witty, sassy, and amazingly well done. These are great!
