Time (Poem by Abigail Rose)

Spend time, Building Brilliant minds. Spend time, Decreasing Crime. By helping others, Who don’t have Mothers. Don’t say you don’t have time, We all have time. We have nothing but time. To do good, In a world that is often misunderstood. Spend time, but don’t waste it, Use it wisely, By being brightly, Inspired and timely. Those who are bored, Are simply not smart enough to entertain themselves. And how you spend it, Is a choice, Not a force.

  1. That amazing moment when you first notice a new submission where someone requests it be posted as soon as possible and you realize, "Hey, I can post it right now since I haven't posted today!"

And then you realize, "Wait, if I've got nothing to post today, that means I need to level up my writing game." Because let's face it, even if I'm 4,000 words behind on my nanowrimo goal, I've still got way more free time than I expected :P

  2. This is my actual comment that's actually related to the post itself (Sorry, bad habit of rambling, clicking "Publish", and then realizing I didn't even write my main message)

I really, really love the concept of this poem! Honestly, I do feel bored a lot of the time, though, and probably because I don't know how to entertain myself

(Gotta hand it to you, Abigail Rose, this poem is really making me think and is really breaking me out of my Joke Mood. I wrote a total of 3 long series of thought and had to stop myself each time because no one wants to read a bunch of nonesense lol. Not many poems can do that to me, though then again, I'm not sure anyone's intentionally tried)

  3. Wowwwwwww Abs this is really really amazing, I think I read this one by you before? nonetheless, I smiled while reading it and it makes me realize I haven't been living life much, I guess I've already realized that but it kind of helps you start thinking 'okay, I got to actually do something now.' Really beautiful piece, I love it :)

  4. I guess she was...ON TIME!
But in all seriousness, this poem made me think a LOT about my choices and how to manage time properly!
