Everything (Poem by Gabby L.)

The flowers blowing in the breeze

The light rain falling on a winter day

The things I don’t see

Everywhere and every place

The rocky outcrop with the roaring waves

The lazy naps and summer days

The cold air that chills to the bone

The starry nights and mysteries you unfold

You fleshed out this wonder

That we call light

You allow us to endeavor

This wonderful thing named life

The stars shine together in harmony

Made by a greater hand so simply

The rest You took, we shall too

All of creation follows You

The whispers in the breeze

The snow laden trees

The fields painted with light at dawn

The first steps of a newborn fawn

The love only You can provide

The happiness You’ve given my life

You will do everything over and over again

You have forgiven every single sin

And I will always follow your footsteps

Even when I’m barely standing

I will keep walking

Because I know You’re right next to me

You will always remain, you will always be

My everything

    3. Lol No worries, I'm pretty blunt whenever I want to be subtle, ironically, so I don't blame you :P
But yeah, it is pretty good. Gabby has a unique style of poetry, but it's super cool!

    4. Yes this is religious, a lot of the stuff I write is. :) And thank you both! It is unique, I don't follow poetry guidelines often or anything like that, if it rhymes I call it poetry! :D

  2. I love this SO much! The peaceful, blissful contentedness of the entire scene is amazing! How you tied it to God was beautiful and natural. Keep on writing! This is great!!! :D
